Hi I’m Joie I'm one of the creative artworkers!
My role plays within the production and finalisation of various print and digital assets. I collaborate closely with the design team, creating and refining artwork for a range of formats, including newsletters, reports, presentations, illustrations, and more.
As well as preparing and optimising files for various platforms, ensuring correct colour profiles and resolution, quality-assuring all deliverables and making the changes to existing projects!
What I’d like to be known for
I’d like to be known as someone who’s approachable, who prioritises growth and development, and who’s always open to any kind of conversation—whether it’s hands-on support with projects, refining PowerPoint slides, exploring what’s trending in the Gen-Z world, or simply sharing a good laugh.
My favourite projects to work on
My brain ticks for all projects, but it ticks even faster for anything involving illustration, brand refresh work, or challenges that push me to learn a new skill. Some of the projects I’ve particularly enjoyed include the GEHPP Get Online campaign, the GEVPTL member booklet brand refresh, CITI portal illustrations, MoneyMinded portal illustrations, and the always-challenging Shell Accessibility project.
The thing I can’t live without
Good music, family time and Filipino food—more specifically my mum’s cooking. And I can't call myself a designer without mentioning a good Wi-Fi speed.
Why I joined like minds
The people, 100%! From the very beginning, I noticed how easy it was to communicate with the team. It felt so natural to be myself, which is a major green flag for me in an agency. Not only does that boost my confidence in the work I deliver, but it also creates an incredible bond—one I’ve never experienced with any other agency before.
If I wasn’t doing this, I’d be...
100% a zoo keeper and if I must specify for which animal, pandas and red pandas!
I’m currently...
Reading a book called ‘Unnatural Causes’ by Dr. Richard Shepherd which is about revealing the hidden truths behind sudden deaths, high-profile cases, and the human stories beneath them. Fitting for those who loves mystery/true crime.
