What I’d like to be known for

Uplifting people and contributing to an environment where we can express ourselves authentically. I think I am known to be an optimistic person, and I feel energised when collaborating with the amazing Design Team and Client Experience Team.

I’m also known for being a speedy worker, but also quite goofy with a few unique interests, and interesting projects on the side.

My favourite projects to work on

While developing the branding for GE Aerospace (or GEAPTL) I was thriving!

I made an extensive library of roughly 280 icons for the client to use throughout their communications and website. It came with a lot of responsibility and creative freedom, whereby I utilised my background in illustration to provide a creative collection of assets.

Delta was another one of my favourite brands I helped develop. I really enjoy designing brochure layouts, and making the information flow in a digestible way.

Finally, I made an infographic for Michelin, which felt a little complicated at first, but it meant the final delivery was clear, beautiful and satisfying.

The thing I can’t live without

My morning croissant with ham and gouda cheese, and a black coffee. Absolute perfection.

Why I joined like minds

I was in a position where I could be quite selective with which company I’d like to work with, long-term. So when I met the team and connected with them instantly, I knew that like minds is a place where the individual is celebrated as their authentic selves. The work culture allows for open discussion and creative freedom to be innovative with the delivery of the work. I think this makes us stand out as a pension communications company, which allows me to feel like I’m contributing to something important.

We can all have a laugh, but also really dedicate ourselves to projects and are more than happy to assist one another.

If I wasn’t doing this, I’d be...

I’d go back to being a freelance jewellery designer, and expand my skills in crafts, so I can sell my wares at atisan markets. If I had to switch professions, I think it would be cool to be a video game designer, and I’d make it my mission to bring back old school gaming. I’m currently learning how to make 3D rendered environments, so maybe in the future I could develop a little indie game.

Improving my skills on Blender 3D and developing my personal projects. It’s pretty much all I do in my spare time, as well as maintaining my lovely living-space, and exploring new restaurants in the city. I am a bit of a foodie, so I collect new recipes to try out at home.
